Our driver will make sure that they track your flight and will arrive before your flight lands. They will meet you at the arrivals hall. Our driver will be holding the “Arnold Clark Board” and will have one of the branch mobiles with them.

Please be aware that you must provide a flight number at booking stage in order for your flight to be met. No flight number will result in the flight not being met. We will only wait 1 hour after the flight has landed. We have a cut off period in place which is 11pm, customers will be met up until this time.

 

DELAYED FLIGHTS
Delayed flights will be met until 11pm. It is imperative that customers contact the rental branch to advise of any delays in order that they can confirm arrangements for the collection of the vehicle. There will be an additional ‘out of hours’ charge of £100 to meet a delayed flight after the office closes, up to 11pm. Any delays after this time will not be met and arrangements will be made to collect the vehicle the following morning.

 

1 HOUR BEFORE CLOSURE OF BRANCH
Any flight due to land within the last hour will now be subject to an additional charge of £50.00

 

OUT OF HOURS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There will be a charge of £100 to meet customers after the branch closes up to 11pm, we are unable to meet customers after this time. A driver proposal form must be completed and returned 48 hours before the hire is due to start. If you are arriving out with office hours please call the branch during the day with an estimated arrival time - you will be met in the arrivals hall by a member of staff from Arnold Clark.

During Office Hours 

Arrivals

On arrival at Edinburgh Airport, collect baggage and proceed to the UK Arrivals area where you will find our courtesy phone situated on the wall to the right-hand side of the exit door. Dial the phone number listed on the wall. Once your call is connected please provide the rental operator with your name. The shuttle bus collection point is bus stance 1. 

To find the collection point from the terminal exit,  walk straight through the multistorey car park ahead, and when you reach the other side you will see bus stance 1 (first one on the right). The transfer to the rental branch will take approximately 5 minutes. Please Note: we are not in the car rental village.

Departures

During office hours, rental vehicles must be returned to our branch in Eastfield Road, Edinburgh Airport. Upon return to the branch, your vehicle will be checked-in prior to your transfer to Edinburgh Airport in our shuttle bus.  

 

Outside Office Hours

Arrivals 

With prior notice we can provide an airport out-of-hours vehicle delivery service, please contact us on 0131 333 0124 to arrange this. 

Departures 

With prior notice we can provide an airport out-of-hours vehicle drop-off service, please contact us on 0131 333 0124 to arrange this. 

• If you are departing outside of office hours your rental vehicle must be returned to the PremiAir car park around the corner from the rental office. • Rental vehicle keys should be left with a member of staff at the long stay car park reception.

• The long stay car park will provide a courtesy bus to Edinburgh Airport – you will be transferred to the airport immediately. This journey will take approximately 3 minutes.

Arrivals: On arrival at Glasgow International Airport, collect baggage and proceed to the courtesy phone situated beside the UK Arrivals Baggage Reclaim area. Dial #6138 for Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental.

Once your call has been connected please provide the rental operator with your name. Our shuttle bus pick-up point is on Bute Road. Please ensure that you have called the branch before going to the bus stop.

Proceed to the front of the terminal building and once outside the terminal, turn right and follow the covered walkway. Please wait at the end of this walkway for our shuttle bus to arrive.

Transfer to the rental branch will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Departures During office hours, rental vehicles must be returned to our branch on Murray Street, Paisley. Upon return to the branch, your vehicle will be checked-in before your transfer to Glasgow Airport in our shuttle bus.

If you are departing outside of office hours your rental vehicle should be returned to Glasgow Airport.

Please park your rental vehicle in NCP car park 2 on the first level or above. The ground level is a short stay parking area and any vehicles left there will be charged at the full cost of parking (£5 per hour).

Do not park the vehicle in the fast track level in car park 2.

Leave car park ticket in vehicle glove compartment.

Please ensure you have removed all your belongings from the rental vehicle before locking it securely.

Make a note of the level and row number of where the vehicle is located.

Proceed to the courtesy phone situated beside the UK Arrivals Baggage Reclaim area. Dial #6138 for Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental. Once connected leave a message on our answering machine clearly stating which level and row of NCP car park 2 the vehicle has been left in.

Drop the vehicle keys in the box marked Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental next to the courtesy phone.

Departures: During office hours, rental vehicles must be returned to our branch in Prestwick Road, Ayr. Upon return to the branch, your vehicle will be checked-in prior to your transfer to Prestwick Airport in our shuttle bus.

Arrivals: After collecting your baggage, please phone 0161 774 1888. The rental agent will ask for your name, confirm the terminal you have arrived at and give you instructions on where to meet the dedicated Arnold Clark shuttle bus.
Please do not use the car rental village shuttle bus as we provide our own dedicated service and are not situated in the village. We are however situated less than half a mile from the car rental village and our journey time from the terminal should take no longer than five minutes. 

Departures: All vehicles must be returned to our Manchester Airport rental branch. After your vehicle has been checked in you will be dropped outside the departures terminal of your choice.
